Enable 2FA
To secure your Pressable account, an additional security layer can be enabled for My Pressable Control Panel by enabling Two-Factor Authentication (2FA). With MyPressable two-factor authentication enabled, you need a code from your mobile phone, email, or an authenticator app to authenticate the login.
The authenticator app option is the most secure method and is what we recommend. Before proceeding, please install an authentication application on your phone, such as Google Authenticator or Authy. Those applications are available for both Android and iOS.
Navigate to the Security settings by clicking on your profile image, then Settings, then Security in the bottom left corner, or this link here: https://my.pressable-staging.mystagingwebsite.com/settings/security:

On the Settings > Security page, you will see the Two-Factor Authentication section. You can now choose the option of App, SMS, or Email:

App 2FA Option
Once you click on the Activate button for the App-based 2FA, you will see a setup option. Scan the provided QR code with your device and follow the prompts to configure it:

The authentication application should then add a profile for the barcode you scanned with a code. Enter this code into the field provided for the Confirmation Code. Then click on the Verify button.
SMS 2FA Option
Once you click on the Activate button for the SMS-based 2FA, you will see a screen to enter the phone number. Choose the country code and phone number to set up SMS. Click on Send Code to receive the code.

Enter the code and click on Verify to complete the set up.

The authentication SMS device can then be used at login to generate a login code.
Email 2FA Option
Once you click on the Activate button for the Email-based 2FA, you will see a screen to enter the code sent via email.
Please note that Email is the least secure option we offer. If possible, use the App or SMS method instead. If you choose Email 2FA, you can only use the email address associated with your Pressable account.
The code will automatically be sent to the email associated with your Pressable account.

You can now enter the code and click on Verify to complete the set up and to log in to your account.

For the SMS code or the Email code, if needed, you can click Resend in the login prompt to receive another code. There is a visual timer that enforces a 2-minute wait time between resend requests.
Disable 2FA
The 2FA feature can be disabled from the same location on the https://my.pressable-staging.mystagingwebsite.com/settings/security page by choosing the Disable button option. For security, you will be prompted to enter your account password to confirm this action.
